I’m a firm believer in setting yourself up for success at the start of the week! That’s why every Sunday I set out with the intention to have a nice little self-care day to get myself extra ready for the week ahead. Self-care is absolutely something you should incorporate into your daily routine, but a little extra once a week is always a nice treat :)
There’s nothing better than waking up slow with no alarm, so if I have any say about how I spend my Sunday, that’s exactly what I do. Bonus points if I’m able to sip my coffee in bed as well :)

I love a good sweat sesh in the morning to start my day and my week off right. Usually on Sundays, I like to do something a little more low impact. Yoga is my go-to!

There’s something about having a fridge stocked full of fresh food that really makes me feel like I’ve got my sh*t together. Grocery shopping is a must on Sundays for me so that I can prep lunches and dinners for the week + have a bunch of healthy snacks on hand!
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I never get a “real” shower during the week while I’m rushing from place to place. On Sundays I always take an extra long shower, shave all the things, and add in some extra care like a hair mask or body scrub!

I definitely always stick to a strict skincare routine throughout the week, but on Sundays I take it to another level and add in a leisurely face mask. Sitting around in my robe with a facemask on is my ideal way to pass the time :)

After all the chaos of the week, I always feel like it’s important to take the time to reset your mind on Sundays. Spend some time by yourself in silence and just be. For me, that looks like sitting on our deck with a cup of coffee or a book for as long as I can.
Set Weekly Intentions
I’m a big planner, if you couldn’t already tell ;) On Sundays, I like to reflect on the week I’ve had and reset for the week ahead - filling out my weekly to-dos, making sure my Google calendar is accurate, prepping for anything major whether it be work related or personal, planning my workouts, etc.

Whatever your self-care routine may look like, make sure you take some extra time to really spoil yourself during the week! Life is crazy and messy and it’s easy to get swept up in the chaos of it all, but when you make yourself a priority, amazing things happen!
